Archie turned up on a member of the public’s doorstep, critically ill, they called Hope 4 Pets. Archie was taken to our vets where the extent of his injuries were assessed.
Archie had several injuries to his leg and tail which were infested with maggots, the vet assumes a traffic accident which had become infected. Archie underwent veterinary treatment, but his leg and most of his tail could not be saved, Archie also had a pin in his front leg and was allergic to the threads used to stitch him and all his surgery sites opened, it was very doubtful for 8 weeks if he would make it…….
Thanks to our vets and the care of his foster family he made it! Archie now lives in our disabled cat house, he is a lively cat, who likes to play and cause a lot of mischief, he is a loving cat, who likes a cuddle.
