Rollo, after being abandoned not once but twice was found running in the road in August 2023, he was 4 months old………………….
Hope 4 Pets took him to the vet where he was assessed, no microchip, no surprise…
Rollo is a lovely natured boy, he is fully vaccinated and had been neutered ready for adoption, we didnt think we would have a problem rehoming such a perfect little puppy.......
We had no enquiries for him in 2023/2024. Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2025, out of the blue, Rollo started having episodes, not seizures as such but similar.
The most likely diagnosis is epilepsy. He is taking daily medication. Rollo has been experiencing these episodes at relatively large intervals ever since, the Epilepsy has affected his eyes, and he is more than likely totally blind. Hope 4 Pets had to make the decision to take on his lifelong care, which we will gladly do, his foster mum Emma loves him, but is having to adapt to a blind dog around her home, and his seizures are very frightening.
Rollo is on Epilepsy Medication, and a special diet, he plays well with the other dogs in the family, but needs to be supervised at all times, he is a young puppy who's life has not turned out as we had hoped. Both Emma and Hope 4 Pets are doing the best we can for Rollo.
